“No one is perfect — that’s why pencils have erasers.”
Sunscreen and I have a complex relationship. I forget to apply, or I discover midday that I’ve been walking around looking like a circus clown. Well, Shiseido’s SPF 50 Clear Sunscreen Stick has turned my frown upside down.

The little blue stick fits easily in my purse, and when the sun peeks out it slips on with a clear, matte look. Your skin will thank you (in 20 years).

Cheers to my friend Maneesh Goyal and his BFF Priyanka Chopra, who have just made entertaining at home so much more chic. Their new homeware line, SONA Home, draws inspiration from their buzzy Indian restaurant of the same name in NYC’s Flatiron neighborhood. (Fun fact: Sona means “gold” in Hindi.)

I’ve added this gorgeous bottle chiller to my wish list to put next to these G*Tea Straws, which sit decoratively on my bar.

No drink hits a surface in my home without a colorful Graf Lanz Merino wool felt coaster. Nary a water ring is spotted chez moi. Occasionally colors are retired, so hurry, this is your last chance for some!

Want to feel like you are in the most gorgeous African art gallery from the luxury of your air-conditioned home? These dolls from the exquisite Hemingway African Gallery are created by members of the Namji tribe in Cameroon to bring good luck during ceremonies and in everyday life.

The earliest Namji dolls were crafted as lucky totems for young girls to take into their future lives as mothers. Each is one-of-a-kind, and as you can see from the two I just bought above, I am obsessed.

Elvis sure had a thing for gold and guns. And now you can own those things, too, when 192 of his personal effects go up for auction on August 27.
There are rings entrusted with jewels, cuff links, watches, and … planes.
My favorite items are the portable Sony TV from his last limo and his personal stationary.
