Welcome to your first Member Newsletter from the Community Assembly of the British Isles, bringing you the latest news from our website and blog.
Thank you for spreading the word
We are delighted to report that since we launched the site, we have enlisted 161 new members, of which 52 were existing members who have transferred across to our new system. This is a tremendous start so keep it up everyone!
LATEST NEWS
Community Assemblies
We have updated Community Assemblies to explain the role of Founding Facilitators who set up Community Assemblies and their successors who take on the role of Community Assembly Facilitator to ensure continuity. We have also introduced ‘Community Network Specialists’ to represent pioneers who are contributing their knowledge, research and specialist expertise to establish and develop the Community Assembly Framework and pillar content for this website.
Community Assembly Knowledge Flow
The reason we need Founding Facilitators of Community Assemblies to join the Community Assembly of the British Isles is to recognise their commitment in setting up an assembly and their role in helping to promote our shared vision, mission and values. This also ensures they are ‘plugged into’ the flow of knowledge (currently shared via the Facilitator Newsletter sent out by John Gilbert).
Community Assembly Framework
The Community Assembly Framework provides an explanation of the structure of the Community Assembly of the British Isles and how we can connect with each other internationally. Our shared vision, knowledge flow and hub services are provided as a source of inspiration and, as an umbrella organisation, we provide governance for the people (not to be confused with governing or government).
Community Law Courts
We are delighted that Hannah Badr, recently Elected Honourable Sheriff of the British Isles, is now working with us. We have created a new page for Community Law Courts to replace the original. This now includes detailed information on how the Sui Juris court system works and what this means for the people. You can book a group talk with Hannah to understand your rights and the Sui Juris court process.
Community Law
We have also added a new page for Community Law which is essentially Natural Law applied to members of Community Assemblies with a preamble introduction by Marc Horn. We are delighted that Marc is now working with us as a Community Network Specialist and as he rightly says: ‘Everyone can understand law, and everyone must take responsibility of their obligations to keep the peace and ensure others keep the peace. That is how simple the solution is!’
Thank you for being part of our vision to claim back our inalienable rights as sovereign beings and to live together in peace and harmony. We appreciate your help in growing the Community Assembly Network here and overseas. If you have any questions or suggestions for continuous improvement, please get back to us to help us to make sure our website and blog works for you.
That's it for our first fortnightly update,
I look forward to seeing you again in two weeks time.
Best wishes
Sue Cartwright AInstAM
Editor on behalf of the Community Assembly of the British Isles
