Ahhh... the happy days of summer are coming to an end so we have two great resources to cheer you up.  You can use both of these resources all year long to save you time and keep your students excited to learn Spanish.
First is our new music unit.  We created a Google Slides presentation and bulletin boards filled with popular Spanish-speaking music artists, their songs, related videos and biographies!  We paired these artists with their comparable English-speaking artists so students can have fun finding new Latin artists they enjoy.  The format of these visuals and presentations is set up like this: "If you like...  You should listen to..." We included two or three or four of each artist’s most popular songs so all the teacher prep work is done.  We also created a quick one-page list that the students can take with them to start listening to these artists outside of class!   We may have gone a little overboard (totally not like us) because we created additional bulletin boards to go along with the Google Slides presentation. We figured you would want to have options and we sure hope it will be useful in your classrooms!
Second are our digital vocabulary units.  We have spent the past two years creating these new digital vocabulary units for our Spanish classes.  We have taken all of our newly acquired technology tricks & digital skills and combined them with some tried and true methods as well.  We use these units in person but they are versatile and offer learning activities and assessments for all types of learners in any type of learning environment.
Also, if you like to plan ahead... here are some great resources for Hispanic Heritage Month and Day of the Dead.
We hope that your first weeks of school go smoothly.  Please contact us or tag us on social media with updates about how your year is going.  We love hearing about how our products have impacted your classes.
