The ARDA Newsletter      October 2022

Dear ARDA Members, Sponsors, Friends, & Supporters,

Thank you for your continued participation and interest in the American Railway Development Association.  We are off and running with a lot in store for our 2022-2023 calendar year.  First, we are so thankful to Devin Sprinkle for his great leadership coming out of Covid and hosting two fantastic events in New Orleans and Salt Lake City over the past year.  As an organization, we are hoping to expand on the strong support and are looking forward to great attendance in Orlando, FL for the Executive Forum February 1-3, and Washington, DC for the Annual Meeting July 9-12.

The success of our association does not happen without the dedication and efforts of our fantastic team which includes our management company Grove Ave., our Board of Directors, Section Leadership, great sponsors, and all our members.  It does take a village, and I am extremely grateful and honored to lead this phenomenal organization for the next year.

I know many of you feel the same passion for ARDA as I do.  I firmly believe in our mission “to foster the industrial, real estate, natural resources, market development activities, and environmental concerns of the North American railroads” and believe strongly that we can grow and take ARDA to new heights.  Please continue to advocate for ARDA and stay active on our LinkedIn page.  I would love to see our membership double, further promote our mission, and expand upon the valuable relationships we share across the industry.

As many of you know, ARDA exists financially through the strong support of its sponsors, and we are so thankful for them.  We have created an expanded pledge form this year to simplify options and help our sponsors plan for our upcoming events.  Please review this link, and do not hesitate to reach out with any questions:  https://form.jotform.com/222147519346154.

We will be contacting you later this month as part of our membership drive.  Also, there will be communication with registration and hotel-block info for the Executive Forum in Orlando.  While our teams remain busy preparing for the meeting, it is already shaping up to be a packed event with some really fun activities.  I look forward to seeing everyone there.

I would love to know if you have any suggestions, comments, or concerns as it relates to ARDA.  I will remain active in the Section meetings, but I also welcome your emails (matt_cangiolosi@csx.com) and/or phone messages (904-742-2987); please reach out at any time.  I look forward to serving you!
