Hello, friend!

 

Happy Saturday to you! I hope your weekend it off to a sunny start. I've been so looking forward to this weekend, but man the week felt like it FLEW by! I blinked and it was Friday. But I'm thrilled because this is going to be such a fun weekend! Ryan's birthday is on Sunday, so we are going to celebrate him big all weekend and I'm pumped. I live for a good birthday celebration and there's no one I love celebrating more! I've already started on his cake (recipe linked below). On Saturday night we are doing make-your-own pizza with friends, and I think I'm going to whip up a batch of martinis in my new pitcher (featured in this post!) and obviously there will be chocolate cake. 

 

And on Sunday I made reservations for brunch at our very favorite pace, ugh, I can't wait! Oh, and Laurens and I have been working on crafting a homemade birthday card… it's hysterical. Can't wait to share, I'll make sure to post it on Instagram as soon as we give it to him. You will laugh! 

 

Anyway… I'm going to go put my party hat on and get to it! But I hope your weekend is full of fun and maybe even cake!

I'm feeling like I can't decide if I should hold onto summer looks or start inching my way into fall (like with this cardigan!)! I'm just about half-and-half right now on pieces I've picked up lately and what's catching my eye… I adore this sweet dress with the bows and this blue one! How good is this dress for closer-to-fall vibes? These block heels are just the right color and obviously I love the color of this so much. And I think this is a must buy!
