Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark ⚡️ a newsletter listing 5 inspiring things I thought were worth starting your week with:

  1. 🤩I loved every word in this post about FOCUS, a favorite word of mine. I had a new aha moment about what focus is when I read this definition by Steve Jobs: “People naturally lose focus when they forget that focus means saying no to good opportunities and good people. Average ideas are everywhere, and they try to pull you in. The more successful you are, the more people will want to work with you. If you start saying yes to average ideas, you quickly lose the space and time you need to execute on great ones.”.
  2. 📣After reading Why Repeating Yourself Is a Good Thing, I will work on being an (overcommunicator), it’s actually a part of my work affirmations already. Adam Grant says: “It’s better to overcommunicate and sound redundant than to undercommunicate and seem unclear and uncaring.
  3. 🎨I can’t believe I have not shared about them, Gapingvoid is a culture design group that creates illustrations that evoke emotion and facilitate business culture change; subscribe to their brilliant and very visually-appealing newsletter. I wish I would have my own Gapingvoid culture wall behind me someday.
  4. 💞Here are two of my favorite blog posts by Gapingvoid: 6 Habits of Empathetic People and How Meaning Transforms work.
  5. 🤯Speaking of Victor Frankl, his book is a must-read; his advice blew my mind:
Live as if you were living for the second time and had acted as wrongly the first time as you are about to act now."
Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning
