1. What is your favorite part of taking music lessons at Music Makers? 

I like learning new songs.

2. What is your favorite song to play and why? 

I like to play Jingle Bells because it's a fun song and I love Christmas.

3. What inspired you to take music lessons? 

Learning to play the piano looked fun and my mom and dad played piano when they were younger.

4. What is a favorite musical memory you have? 

Moving up to a new music book and playing harder songs.

5. If you could play another instrument what would it be? 

I would play the violin.

6. Which famous musician would you pick to meet? 

I would like to meet Alicia Keys because my favorite song is Girl on Fire.

I like playing music, and I like when Mr. Devin helps me to learn new things and try new stuff to play.

2. What is your favorite song to play and why?

I like to play The Hero because it's fast and fun to play.

3. What inspired you to take music lessons?

My dad signed me up, and now I'm really glad he did! 

I like to be able to play music with him and my sister also.

4. What is a favorite musical memory you have?

My first recital because it was cool to be on stage for the first time.

5. If you could play another instrument what would it be?

Piano- I kind of can play the keyboard and I think it's fun!

6. Which famous musician would you pick to meet?

Mike Portnoy, former drummer for Dream Theater

Yogya's favorite part about taking music lessons at Music Makers is that she gets to play new songs every week, and improve on them. Her favorite song to play is Prelude D, because it uses many differenthand/pedaling techniques. "I’ve always wanted to learn an instrument, and thought I should join the class at school, and at Music Makers. 

My favorite musical memory was in fourth grade, when I went to a musical. If I could play another instrument I would play the guitar. 

If I could meet a famous musician I would meet Taylor Swift."

 

 

1. My favorite part is getting to see Mr Allen and getting better at playing my trombone.

2. My favorite song to play is Ode To Joy  and Jingle Bells because it’s a holiday song.

3. The reason I take lessons is because I am in Band at School and wanted to play better.

4. A great memory is playing trombone in the Winter Concert at DVHS.

5. If I could play another instrument, it would be the trumpet.

6. I think it would be cool to meet any of The Beatles.

• Butter by BTS because Mr. Devin and I have been working on it for a while and it's really catchy.

• I liked all the cool songs people were playing and I wanted to be able them too.

• My first recital because it felt great to do well and be cheered on.

• The bass guitar
