BEAVER BITES

  • We just got back from the Canadian Badlands (video coming soon), so it was great to hear about two big dinosaur discoveries. First, a PEI school teacher discovered a 300-million-year-old reptile and then, a Calgary biologist found a dinosaur bone with its skin still intact. Can't wait to see these in a museum!

  • Newfoundland is truly a special place and back in 2001, they welcomed in many of the aircrafts grounded due to 9/11. Now, you can see that story come to life in Broadway's Come From Away, a Best Musical winner all across North America. It's playing in Calgary right now from Sept 6 - 11, in Saskatchewan from Oct 12 - Oct 23, Winnipeg from Oct 25 - Oct 30, and Ottawa from Dec 27 - Jan 8, 2023.

  • Ontario is one of Canada's top wine producers, but due to poor weather conditions, grape production is down by almost 50% this year. Better buy that wine quick!

  • Beavers have become a Canadian icon, as well as a nuisance in some cases, but can we task Beavers with potentially saving the world?

  • We never like to see Canada not take the #1 spot, but ranking 8th for safest country for women travellers isn't too bad.

  • With Canadians basking in the sunlight lately, running has become a popular way to keep fit. But did you know there's a proper way to breathe?

  • Canadians drink a lot of coffee, so if you're making it at home, here are some nifty ways to reuse those coffee grounds.
