In a world that is full of negative energy it can be exhausting sometimes to stay in a higher vibration and stay positive, I find this to be especially true when I am over tired. I am very careful as to the type of energy I allow around me and in my space, especially my home and that includes what I watch for movies and on TV.
I am not one to watch the news – EVER, that does not mean I do not know what is going on because I do read the news. Why is reading and watching different? Well, when you watch the news, you are usually just getting one side of it and our media keeps drilling the same negative stories into us until we become desensitized by it. You are also usually getting their perspective of a story and not the whole story. By reading it I can read from several different sources and maintain some objectivity and disturbing images aren't in my face all the time.
There are also times when I need to remove myself from the living room if my roommate is watching a movie that I find disturbing, such as a movie called “God Bless America.” This movie is too close to reality for me about how Americans are treating each other today and how entitled they have become. There is a lot screaming in this movie and I felt my energy being drained.
Negative energy impacts us not only on a physical level, but emotionally and spiritually as well. What are some of the symptoms of negative energy?
