Dear Friends,

 

I read a Facebook post recently about a small town where it was suggested that folks lock their car doors. Thinking it was because of a recent wave of crime, someone asked why. The answer was the local gardeners had so many zucchini, they left them in unlocked cars. I totally understand. I have ONE zucchini plant. Just one, and we are overwhelmed with literally dozens of zucchini. My neighbors now avoid me for fear I’m about to offer them yet another zucchini.

That said, I hope September is as abundant for you as my sole zucchini plant.
