This Week's Update
Good Morning My Dear Friends!
Hello Friday! Hello Fall!

Ahh Friday…I am so glad you are here! I hope you all have had a good week. My week was stressful to say the least! The possible collaboration with the clothing company isn't going to happen. After numerous emails back and forth, I decided that this collaboration wasn't for me because what was stated in the emails from the clothing company that I would be receiving each month was not stated in the contract. What was in the contract was a substantial fee that they wanted me to pay to insure that I was serious about being an influencer for them. Their reasoning to me was “this was implemented because of influencer commitment issues they have dealt with in the past” but this was not stated in any of the emails from them. So I told them I was no longer interested and they apologized for the discrepancies and any inconvenience this may have caused me. Now that this is behind me, I can put my focus back on building my businesses! And on a positive note, Thursday was the official arrival of fall! Now although the excessive heat and humidity has left the building here in Las Vegas, it's still in the low to mid 90's here, but at least the mornings are cool enough to take Audriana on longer walks which she really likes!

Over at Glam Budget Boutique, the fall coffee mug & fall candle sale is going on now! All of the details are located in "My Discount Codes" of the "Sales Links Discount Codes Referral Links” section below.

Well, that's all I have for you this week. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I will talk with you all again next week! Now on to the recap of what was published on the blog, my Friday favorites and failures and a few other goodies to share too, so on to this week's update!

~Here's What I Have Been Loving This Week~

LA's Totally Awesome All-Purpose Concentrated Cleaner ($1.25 for 32 oz.) – I have seen this cleaner on the shelf at Dollar Tree for years and I never thought to pick this up to try! Well, last week I finally decided to give this a try and I am completely amazed! This cleaner is concentrated, so you have to dilute the cleaner with water (directions are located on the back of the bottle). You can clean pretty much anything and everything in your home from kitchens, bathrooms, windows and woodwork as well as wash your car and clean rust stains too! I even used this cleaner to clean the inside of my oven door and this removed all of the built up grease and now my oven door is spotless clean! Now I will stop buying all of the different cleaners I have been buying for years and just use this! If you are looking for a multi-purpose cleaner that pretty much cleans everything and you want to save money at the same time, I highly recommend this cleaner!!

~Here's What I Have NOT Been Loving This Week~

Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment Original Lotion ($1.25 for 8 oz.) - I picked up this lotion at the Dollar Tree the same day I bought the all-purpose cleaner (mentioned above). I needed a lotion in my kitchen to use after washing my hands. This lotion is okay, but it's not moisturizing enough for my hands after washing. I have to use double the amount to get the moisturization my hands need than I would with the lotion I had in the kitchen before buying this one, so I will not repurchase this lotion and will buy what I had before or try something new.

Life Update
Good Morning My Wonderful Friends!
Hello Friday! Hello Fall!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week! My week was filled with the all of my usual weekday things! You know, I wanted to write a life update about my first year living with mama back in July, but I forgot so I am writing it now!

On July 30, 2021, mama adopted me from The Animal Foundation here in Las Vegas and my adoptiversary was July 30, 2022! My how time flies! It seems like it was only yesterday when I first walked into my new home! I remember the day when I came home with mama from the shelter. We walked into the house, mama took the harness and leash off me and I immediately went into the dining room and had my first potty accident in the house! Mama was so nice about it, she just cleaned it up and told me that's okay and in November 2021, when I had my spay surgery, mama took such good care of me. Carrying me around the house and outside for potty breaks and making sure the “cone of shame” was securely on around my neck so I couldn't paw it off. I will say, it has been a long road mama and I have been on, getting to know each other, learning the things mama wants me to know and we have had our struggles with each other, but now we are the best of friends and I don't know where I would be today if mama didn't adopt me! I am so happy, content and I am living my best life ever thanks to my mama!!

That's all I have for you this week! I hope you all have an awesome weekend and I will bark with you all next week and remember, Adopt, Don't Shop!

~This Week's Recipe~
Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte
~Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte~

Fall means Starbucks releases their Pumpkin Spice Latte and I am the first one in line the day they are released! I also know that as much as I love drinking a hot PSL from Starbucks, it’s not something I should do all of the time, so when I am craving a pumpkin spice latte, this single serve skinny version is perfect and easy to make at home! Here’s what you will need:

Ingredients:
  • 1 tbsp. sugar-free French vanilla powdered creamer
  • 1 no-calorie sweetener packet (I love Whole Earth Stevia & Monk Fruit packets)
  • 2 tsp. instant coffee granules
  • 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tbsp. canned pure pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup light vanilla soy or almond milk
  • 1/4 cup low fat whipped topping or whipped cream
Directions:
  1. Place powdered creamer, sweetener, coffee granules, and pumpkin pie spice in a tall microwave-safe mug or glass.
  2. Add 3/4 cup very hot water and stir until creamer and coffee granules have dissolved.
  3. Add canned pumpkin and stir until blended.
  4. Add soy or almond milk and mix well.
  5. Microwave for 30 - 45 seconds or until hot.
  6. Carefully remove from microwave and stir.
  7. Top with low fat/fat free whipped topping or whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice.
Nutritional Value: (about 12 oz.): 97 calories, 3.5g total fat (2.5g sat fat), 68mg sodium, 12g carbs, 1.5g fiber, 6g sugars, 3.5g protein

For those of us who love the PSL, we will continue to stop by Starbucks for an occasional pumpkin spice latte before they go away, but now we can have a pumpkin spice latte any time at home without the additional calories, sugar, or fat, so brew one up in your kitchen today!
