What an incredibly active and fulfilling month for EmergeCounsel. At the beginning of the month, we closed a sophisticated asset transaction for a serial ecommerce entrepreneur client (the seller) in relatively short order. In addition, Steve will publish a blog on the e-commerce process and how to facilitate it.
On September 6th, Amber, Marie, and Steve played hooky, attended the Rockies/Brewers game, and then went for an early dinner at Tavernetta, a coveted table in Denver. Steve, a Milwaukeean, rooted for the Brewers, where Marie and Amber favored the Rockies. It was 96 degrees, but it did not seem bad in the shade (see photo below).

The Education Center's 12th Annual Salute to Excellence in Education Gala, which supports professional development for educators of Colorado. Supporting minority educators is critical to our team, and it is so inspiring to be with educators who are so dedicated to the craft of teaching.
Next, Steve spoke to a group of entrepreneurs from Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand at the Global Start-Up Pad event hosted by the Denver World Trade Center. Steve’s presentation, “Welcome to Colorado, USA, a Primer on Law and Business,” focused on legal considerations for foreign businesses wanting to do business in the United States. That night, the firm attended the Colorado Women’s Bar Association Foundation “Raising the Bar” dinner honoring women leaders in law, and Steve saw many of his legal mentors
