PLENTY OF TIME for PLANning AND PONDERing
120 Miles (201 km)
Hello First name

Last week, I successfully completed my first multi-day bike tour. Felt good to check off this adventure from my bucket list. Despite a dismal forecast, the pouring rain mostly held off. The days were gray and misty with the reward of sun and blue skies as we rode into the finish. I like this kind of adventure— where my to-do list is so very simple. Focus on the basic necessities: thirst, hunger, warmth, sleep, ibuprofen, and creative thought.

Musings from the trail:
  • Pride! I can do hard things…and so can you!
  • A good saddle is worth its weight in gold.
  • The value of giving your brain a long stretch without any distractions.
  • The start felt overwhelming. In this case, all I could do was ride one kilometer at a time. We all should remember this when contemplating any kind of big goal. Small achievements do add up!
Reply and tell me what's on your bucket list!
