Hey Guys!
Pansies, mums, cabbage, and kale are all ready for fall planting. I know my potted plants are looking a little rough from the heat, so I'm about to switch them out for some great fall color.
So as weather starts cooling down I always like to remind people that this is the best time of year to reseed fescue and bluegrass. Basic rule of thumb is 1 pound to 300 sq. ft. if you are covering thin spots. If it is bare ground you want to do about 1 pound to 100 sq. ft.
If you don't need to overseed your yard it is also time to think about preventing winter/early spring weeds. We have a few options to choose from. All-Seasons is great for a pre-emerge/fertilizer combo. Dimension is a great option if you just want to prevent weeds and not fertilize the grass.
See y'all soon!
Thanks,
