Hello & welcome to my October 2022 Newsletter. This month I wanted to highlight one of our local treasures here in Albuquerque…the Rail Yards Market. The regular season for the market ends the last Sunday in October. This is one of the most exciting & event-packed months to enjoy it before a break in November & the highly anticipated Holiday Market the second weekend in December. The month of October features the always delicious taco tournament fundraiser followed by lots of opportunities for costumes & harvest cheer leading up to Halloween. You can visit the Rail Yards Market every Sunday from 10am-2pm (May through October).
Did you know that the starting this fall, the Rail Yards site will also double as CNM's newest classroom? Beginning this month film & digital media students will be able to take hands-on courses in the iconic building featured in so many films & television series. This partnership between the City of Albuquerque & CNM will expand usage for the historic site & offer new inspiration & educational opportunities.
