The Cool Yule Experience
Over the last few years, Cool Yule has turned into something so much more than just your average holiday photo shoot.

It has become a staple family tradition. Each year at Cool Yule, we hope to bring our families an unforgettable holiday experience filled with joyful little moments like story time with Santa, magical candy lands, hot cocoa with friends, letters to the big man, and a whole lotta holiday cheer!

Whether you plan on coming to our big event weekends at Cross Gables this year, with crafts, refreshments, vendors and more, or choosing the quieter more sensory friendly weekends at the studio, you can still plan on making it your family’s favorite holiday outing of the season!

Here are just a few of the ways you can most the most out of YOUR Cool Yule experience:
TIP #1

How & When to Book Your Sessions

This year we have NINE different sets to choose from, and you don’t have to pick just one! You can plan to book a few in one day or space out the fun through multiple
weekends!

When booking more then one set in a day be sure to give yourself at least 20 mins in between each session. If you plan on changing outfits you may want to space your sessions 30 minutes apart.

TIP #2

Make A Day Out Of It

We all know just how stressful it can be getting your family dressed, doing hair, and washing crumbs off of little faces….you’ve put all that work in so you may as well make a whole day of it! There is so much to see and do at each of our locations this year!

If you are joining us at our big event weekends at Cross Gables (November 12-13th & 19t-20th) plan to stay a while and take part in all the holiday cheer we have planned! Our kids room will have fun crafts and storytime, while our lounge area will have live music and curated seasonal snacks for all to enjoy!

TIP #3

Bring Your Santa List

Even if you don’t have a session booked with the big man himself (we get it, some kids only enjoy Santa from afar!) , your little ones can still bring their list and drop it one of our official Santa mailboxes!

Before Santa heads back to the North Pole he will grabbing all the letters and hand delivering to his elves so they can get to work!

TIP #4

Meet Up with Family and Friends

The holidays are always better when shared with family and friends and Cool Yule is no different! Meet up with your cousins and get a group photo for the grandparents, plan a Cool Yule playdate with school friends, or introduce a neighbor to all the fun and magic of the event!

If you would like to have your photos taken with another family just be sure to book back to back sessions so your photographer has enough time to get your group shot plus each family’s individual shots.
