The Fall Conference was a great chance to learn and network with new and old beekeeping friends. Dr. Mohammed Alburaki, Dr. Lewis Bartlett, and Dr. Samuel Ramsey gave great keynotes on their latest research in honey bee genetics, queen health, and Varroa feeding patterns. Mary attended a special breakout by Marina Marchese, a member of the Italian National Register of Experts in the Sensory Analysis of Honey…aka an expert Honey Sommelier. We were thrilled to see Dan Long, of Eastern Piedmont Beekeepers Association, win the 2022 Georgia Beekeeper of the Year award!
