Hi friends,

Some of you remember that I chose three words for the year 2022. After summer break ended, I could hardly remember those words because while I followed my advice and wrote them on a card to make them visible, that card was on my home office desk, the one I did not use all summer.

The good news is that I reconnected with my three words, Cherish, Release, and Prolific, and I found I did an excellent job in two out of the three.

I lived Cherish this year and continue to live it, hence the summer break disconnect.

I Released some negative feelings I needed to take care of through journaling and talking about them.

As for the word Prolific, I felt this newsletter is the proof I have to show for it, but I intended more. I chose prolific because I am a creative and wanted to honor my creative soul by creating more podcast episodes, writing on my blog, and sharing what I write in digestible format on Social Media. So, this is what I will focus on in the coming two months.

I am happy to share some numbers that motivate my prolific intentions (while still trying not to get too attached to them):
  • My newsletter, the one you are reading right now, will be 100 weeks old in 3 weeks with more than 1700 awesome subscribers just like you! The 100th is going to be a special edition. Stay tuned.
  • My podcast exceeded 76,000 total downloads; that 100K is just around the corner!
  • My Facebook group for podcast listeners has more than 300 members.
To celebrate these milestones, I will run a special free LIVE training session exclusively for my Facebook group next Sunday, October 16th at 9 pm. The topic, voted on by the members, is Productivity and Time management. Join the Facebook group to attend the exclusive LIVE here.

Happy Full Moon Day šŸŒ• ! Meditating is encouraged today.

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark āš”ļø a newsletter listing 5 inspiring things I thought were worth starting your week with:

1. šŸ—“ļø From my desk: What are you working on this month?

3. šŸ‘“ Based on Tim Ferriss's recommendation, I now read better on my laptop using Bionic Reading, which I shared a few Sundays ago. Now they have an app to read long articles better on tablets and phones.

4. šŸ¤© Would you like to share your new Instagram photos to Twitter automatically? Or Share your Twitter updates to your LinkedIn? These are some basic automation recipes you can do when you try Zapier. It has 5,000+ of the most famous apps. No need to learn coding to automate your processes. I was a big fan of it when I was more active on Twitter back in the day, and I plan to use it more as I improve the production process of this newsletter.

5. šŸ’¬ Process over outcome reminder:

ā€œCommit to a consistent action, measure your effort, and your fulfillment and motivation will go through the roof"

ā€•Charlie Gilkey, Start Finishing

(Resurfaced through Readwise)

You replied, and I listened. I know you have been missing the personal notes. I have missed writing them too, but I never meant to stop them, I was taking a pause. As Austin Kleon says, this newsletter is free but not cheap, so Iā€™m trying to find a better way to streamline the production of this newsletter. Would you like to know more about how I put it together? Let me know.
