Spring Bay Mill has made its mark as a first-time entrant and nominee in the highly esteemed Tasmanian Tourism Awards, held on Friday the 4th of November at Wrest Point Casino in Hobart.

These highly esteemed awards recognise ambitious tourism ventures and saw Spring Bay Mill win:

 

GOLD - Positive Impact Tourism Award

 

The Judge’s Special Choice Award for the best example of Positive Impact Tourism from all entries judged.

 

 

This category recognises venues who provide high quality facilities specifically designed for business visitors e.g. meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.

FINALIST - Environment Protection Authority Sustainability Award

 

The EPA Sustainability Award acknowledges businesses from any industry sector who have developed and implemented cleaner production initiatives that have delivered measurable improvements in preventing pollution, conserving energy and water, minimising waste and maximising resource efficiency.

 

This category recognises projects which excel as architecture, and also display innovation and excellence in terms of environmental sustainability. The aim is to recognise the value of creative and intelligent thinking in achieving enduring and meaningful value through a holistic design response.
