3rd... FOLLOW THESE STEPS to get the most out of your ketone experience!!!
1. Don’t forget
to take before photos & measurements! I promise you’ll be amazed by your results! Having a comparison after 10 days will help you see the difference that you may otherwise miss! I was surprised myself!
2. Drink PLENTY of water
At least half your body weight in ounces every day! If you don’t drink enough water, a slight gain between day 1-4 is sometimes experienced (this is normal – don’t worry, you aren’t gaining weight, your cells are simply holding water). Most see a loss in days 5-10 after the “water whoosh”. Some begin noticing changes day 1 – everyone is different! If you experience a gain, this means you NEED MORE WATER, because your body will be flushing and may be temporarily filling your fat cells with water (bloat) as you lose the fat.
3. GET GEARED UP WITH ELECTROLYTES
before starting your experience! DO NOT START WITHOUT THEM! There are options from Amazon, but there are many others to choose from, including electrolyte water! Pruvit also offers an amazing electrolyte supplements called MitoPlex. Feel free to ask me questions... I want you to get started on the right foot, and not get the keto flu (not the real flu!). 4. Start
by drinking ½ a packet on an empty stomach the first morning (certainly have coffee first if you’d like… I do) and wait to eat until you're hungry. This is called intermittent fasting! You'll be surprised how you can wait! *1/2 pack is recommended just for a heads up...in case you have a sensitive tummy! If all goes well, feel free to take the 2nd half in the afternoon. You can do a full pack morning #2!
5. Drink your ketones slowly
over 20-40 minutes… and remember, add water if you'd like! Do what tastes best to you! You can mix them with seltzer waters as well & even unsweetened nut milks… Milkadamia is my favorite!
6. Track your net carbs
throughout the day… IF YOU’RE READY! (If not, keep it super simple!) Just eat low carb if you can; otherwise, ease into your keto lifestyle! Just drink your ketones and eat when you're hungry. I am always here to chat if you need help or have questions! Also, the Keto Diet is not required while taking ketones, so if you’re eating carbs, consider eating them 1 hour before you drink your ketones, or at least 4 hours after. 7. Every BODY is different
– some see immediate results, others start to see them after day 5 or 6. For some there’s bloating days 3-5 and then a “whoosh” effect after 5-7 days! Stay the course! You will feel better than you ever have!!! Ask me about the Whoosh Effect!
