Dear Friends,

 

I’m switching my closet around this month, exchanging my cotton tops for sweaters. I woke this morning to frost on the ground and the scent of autumn in the air. It must be October. The colors of fall inspire me, especially as I sort through my yarn stash for orange, yellow, and brown color waves. Both my granddaughter, Maddy, and I grow a year older this month, so it’s one in which the earth gets ready to rest for a season, and I prepare new books ideas and knitting projects.
