It’s October, my favourite month of the year. Do you love the crunchy leaves, fresh air, cozy fleece, and bottomless mugs of tea as much as I do? Ahhh…. REFLECTION: Thinking about my new Thrive with 5 graphic… The very talented marketing specialist Hannah McCormick designed it and it feels fresh and fun - just what I'm craving this season. It always feels energizing and identity shifting when I change up my graphics. Thoughts? As a multi-passionate, I've got a few things on the go I'd love to share… In addition to teaching marketing online at Seneca, I’ve been helping clients create space for their creative and entrepreneurial projects which is super satisfying - seeing ideas come to life in inspiring spaces rocks! As I continue to write Kika 2.0, my portfolio living manifesto/book for 2023, I realize just how challenging it is to stay on course and get to my finish line. On the home front, I'm experiencing all the feels of parenting a pre-teen, while batching bone broth, making energy balls, and helping Jeremy complete our Airstream renovation so we can hit the road next summer. Health-wise, my focus is on managing the menopause transition while nursing a rotator cuff injury and managing my monkey brain. It's not easy when one is used to being active without limitations - can you relate? As fall unfolds, remaining present, engaged, and calm are my 3 goals. WHAT ARE YOU UP TO THIS FALL? I'D LOVE TO KNOW! |

With a 30-year career at Hallmark cards, the author shares stories, doodles, and illustrations that showcase what it's really like to buck the system and orbit the giant hairball in order to stay curious, creative, and relevant. First published in 1996, the book recently came to my attention thanks to un-boring writer and coach Jeff Goins. So grateful, as the book's content and design are truly inspiring to this future writer of this kind of book! HAVE YOU EVER ESCAPED FROM A GIANT HAIRBALL? |
