Dear First name / Friend,
In November of 2021, The Thirlby Company distributed our first issue of The Monthly Digest.
Before we created the newsletter, I promised myself that it would not be a box checking activity. I wanted to (first) land on a clear vision with goals:
1 - We would only distribute monthly
2 - The newsletter would be a quick read
3 - There would be meaningful and usable content in every issue
I'm so glad we stuck to this plan.
The reader engagement with The Digest has been fantastic since day one. We still have just shy of a 70 percent open rate compared to the average market rate of 21.5 percent in 2021 (across all industries). And only four people total have unsubscribed in one year.
So as we celebrate the one-year anniversary of The Digest, I want to thank you for being part of this community.
Thank you to our clients who have inspired content and kept us grounded.
And thank you to our associates, Amber and Hannah, who helped bring the publication to life - I'm pointing at you!
For the anniversary issue of The Digest, I'm honoring the greatest leader and role model in my life - my dad. I'm also providing tips on designing a holiday season that brings you joy. I hope you enjoy.
