Good morning!
Did you know? In Canada, Halloween is a billion-dollar industry and the second-largest shopping season after Christmas. In fact, Canadians spend hundreds of millions of dollars on candy alone. Whoa! You're welcome, dentists.
With Halloween just around the corner, we thought we'd do a “Halloween special” this year. This is actually the first year that we'll be spending October 31st in Mexico, as we've always wanted to experience Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). While Halloween might be all about Candy to some people, it actually has a really interesting history and an extra-special meaning in Mexico.
So, enjoy the 89th edition of the Weekly Ghoul newsletter, which features articles about Halloween, polar bears, Day of the Dead, and more!
