Deadline: November 8, 2022 Under the internship program, each hired intern will shadow and assist members on either the operations, finance, or marketing team throughout the Spring 2023 semester. If accepted as an intern, this does not guarantee being elected into the officer position or team (if one were to run for an elections for the next following school year). However, it is highly recommended to apply for the internship program if you are interested in being on the executive board in the future. Experience. The purpose of this program is to allow our members to practice their leadership skills and provide them first-hand experience with leading an organization.

This is perfect for members interested in running for an elected office for the next term, students who want to gain leadership experience, as well as those who strive for self-improvement.
Involvement.

November 14-17, 2022 The International Working Group (IWG) on Women and Sport is the world’s largest network dedicated to advancing sport by empowering women and girls. Established in 1994, the network developed and is the guardian of the Brighton Declaration on Women and Sport. Updated in 2014, the Brighton plus Helsinki Declaration now has over 550+ signatories – global organizations demonstrating their commitment to ensuring that women and girls can freely and safely participate, compete and build careers in sport. Amongst them stand the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee and FIFA. The IWG works year-round to bring attention to the important issues facing women and girls in sport by supporting the development and the sharing of research and insights, plus global advocacy. It partners with agencies, including the United Nations, UNESCO and WHO, to drive awareness and support positive change. Every four years it stages the largest gathering in the world to advance gender equity and equality in sport and physical activity, with the next edition being staged in Auckland, New Zealand, 14-17 November 2022.
