Big Hug, we maaaybe have one more newsletter before “holiday” ✨ 

I use holiday loosely, I recognize the myriad of ways we observe this season.

 

What I find nearly all share, from purely religious through spiritual and the agnostic, is this is a time to gather with devotion, a season to hold waning light as divine, rest our spirits in the company of those we love and delight in.

 

Yet… we humans have found a way to infuse this reverence for the still with the emotional chaos of anxious obligation, PRESSURE. Yay! yay?

 

C'mon, can I get just a little enthusiasm for pressure? Lol.

 

No really, pressure really can be interesting and surprisingly vital, let's get into it… with PIEZO

 

 

 

 

We humans - and all life,  are made of all the same elements we find here on earth and the celestial heavens ☆ from the trace gold in our nails to the phosphorus in our blood and bones which originates in the hearts of stars. 

 

All these elements, gases and minerals are bound to natural laws and principles of atomic nature. I believe that we feel and behave in concert to these principles, our feelings reflective of atomic reactions taking place from crystal to space, the infinite working it's wild and radical way in the finite - me, you, feels as such an utter holding feeling.

 

 

 

WHY in heavens would we believe, or even want to believe, we are beyond these principles when we are literally  of  them? We are the universe embodied, LITERALLY.

 

So, my life's work, is here at the intersection, of verified universal principles at play in our human psyche, and how can we apply those principles to enrich our daily lives.

 

I have long dubbed this, the “Mechanics of Magic”.

 

Let's do PRESSURE  for real now

 

 

 

 

PIEZOelectricy⚡ is VERY COOL, or hot, howevs you feel it, this is the DATA how it works..

 

The atoms in most crystals are perfectly symmetrical, and their molecules are 

electrically balanced - this means the positive charge of one atom is canceling out 

the negative charge of its neighbor. Oh humans, if only we could be like crystal lol.

 

 ANYHOW, if you compress these atoms they are simply getting much cozier 

but the overall electrical charge is not changing as they are still perfectly balanced, 

this means no electrical charge, no spark.

 

 

However in a Piezo crystal, Quartz, the atoms are not arranged symmetrically. 

The overall ‘charge’ of these crystals will normally be ‘neutral’ as each asymmetrical 

molecule has struck a balance with its neighbors. 

But when these crystals are compressed, pressurized, areas of positive atoms group up 

with each other as do the negative atoms with each other.

This creates a buildup of opposite polarities on either side, and this is what generates SPARK, electricity, and that by nature flows.

 

 

An example of Piezo in the world for you - 

The grooves of a vinyl record push the stylus needle against a piezo crystal creating electrical audio signal our speakers need to produce Music to our ears :—)

 

 

 

✸ Metaphysically speaking…

 

What strikes my chords about Piezoelectric Quartz, is it is predominantly used in the myriad of ways we communicate. A Quartz, while stunning, is one of the most abundant earth material, is forced under duress to produce charge, and that charge is channeled into radio, 

walkie talkie, records, microphones.

 

When I think of Quartz qualities and how it effects our human lives 

I think of amplification of our communication and messaging, as that would be the parallel reflection of it's technical uses. For Piezo Quartz I would also add the ability to

transmute pressure into spark and creative clarity.

 

 

Important to hold in consideration ✸

 

It behooves us to keep in mind, the world of electricity negative / positive have no moral quality, they simply denote direction. To me, this is another indicator that universal 

Life Consciousness has no obligation to human attachment / our bias. 

It sees polarity and the result is electric. 

 

Each of these Quartz are double terminated, meaning they come to a point at each end. I love the heavy bloppy nature the gold is sculpted with a Trillion (triangle) cut Diamond to beam eternal fire at the center.

 

They feel like temples, of the beginning, the molten center of fire △

 

 

 

Lastly, a little candor from me…

 

I am always reflective of “what” I am putting into the world, constantly considering the thought and creation I wish to cultivate in this life we share, your children will grow in and how / what if any effect I have here and hope to have.

 

I have received a few notes lately apologizing for not being able to purchase, this knocks the wind from my gut. I never, ever, want you to feel that I feel owed. I am not owed, I LOVE this work, I am terrifically passionate about it and incredibly excited to do it.

 

My partner and I engage in open dialogue about the role I wish this work to take on, and we - so far - :-) Hi Paul, have agreed that lifestyle sacrifices are small by comparison to the ability to do “Life's work”, and that's what this connection between you and I are for me… Life work and joy.

 

I am irrevocably grateful I get to do this, to connect with you about our universe, beautiful things and what it feels like to be human.

 

For the foreseeable future I will continue creating in these small batches. This is never a scarcity implication but that with a streamlined model I will never feel pressured to push on sales, or become despondent that the Instagram algorithm effects my reach. 

Because ultimately, my goal is this connection, time and space to feel and experience our connection, thinking, writing, working on my light study and bio-feedback study, sculpting jewelry imbued and resonant of all this. I live for this, for us!

 

The “growth” of this creative work, or not, will always be what is sustainable emotionally relative proxy to financial health, both yours and mine. So please, I am so grateful for your notes, your likes and shares, please never minimize the effect you have on my life. 

Every thing matters ♡

 

I think we often presume we have little impact so we go about our lives  as if our activities only impact our selves. It is an impossible task to fully know our own impact, but I am deeply reverent for the relationship I have with you. I cannot imagine sacrificing an iota of this.

 

Thank you dearly for entrusting me with this mental space in your mind, it is felt deeply and approached lightly.
