Happy Friday!

We are very excited for today's brand new book list because we're confident that everyone will find a new book for their TBR (to be read) list! Instead of being focused on a holiday or genre, this list includes our picks for the Best Book Club Books for 2023. While these books will generate great discussion in a book club, you definitely don't need to be in a book club to enjoy them.

Before we get to that list, we also have the graphics ready showing the reader favorite books from the October reading challenges!

October Book Log Highlights
As always, thank you so much for filling out the book logs each month! They help us determine which challenge books have enough reader interest for discussion groups, but they also give us lots of great feedback about which books you loved (and which you didn't).

We really enjoy compiling the highlights from the book logs! Here's a look back at the best books from October... as determined by your ratings!

November Challenge Reading Lists
We've really been enjoying the older characters from the last couple of months. November is our final age range, characters who are over 90 years old. We've divided the list into 90-somethings, and those rare characters over 100! One of them is a memoir by a fascinating lady who was 107 when the book was written! As a reminder, in December, we'll be focused on surprising relationships between characters of different generations.
For Book Voyage, we're traveling to the continent many of us are most familar with - North America! Since so many of the books on your shelf are likely set in the USA, we encourage you to armchair travel to one of the continent's other countries. Although, the list does also include a few great books that provide unique perspectives on the US.
In the Decades Challenge, we've made it to a period that we all remember well. The majority of the books on the list tie to a topic that specifically represents the 2010s, while others were contemporary best-sellers or award-winners released during the decade.
For those of you participating in multiple reading challenges, the books on our November crossover list allow you to check off two, or even all three, prompts in a single read.
We appreciate our Buy Me a Coffee members SO MUCH for supporting the costs of The Book Girls Guide by making a monthly or annual donation!

As a thank you, each month we provide some great bonus options for all three challenges. You can see them (or sign up) here, and once you're a member, you'll have access to the bonus lists for all prior months, as well.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
