Hello & welcome to my November 2022 newsletter. Can you believe the last couple of months of this year are already upon us? I thought it was a great time to share one of my favorite local historic destinations with you as we approach the holiday season. Old Town Albuquerque is near & dear to my heart & is definitely experiencing a period of revitalization & renewal this year. If you're like me, you visit Old Town with out of town family & friends. Or maybe the first Friday in December is on your calendar for the annual Old Town Holiday Stroll & Lighting of the Tree in Plaza Don Luis. If you haven't visited recently, you may be pleasantly surprised with the abundance of new businesses popping up all around the plaza. While many favorites can still be found, some have relocated to new locations & lots of fresh faces & offerings are waiting to be experienced. 

Every year on the first Friday of December, Old Town gets all dressed up & invites you to take in the holiday decorations, experience the annual lighting of the tree in Plaza Don Luis & get started on your holiday gift giving from the local shops. This year there are many more shops, as well as an abundance of restaurants & tasting rooms to enjoy dinner & drinks during your visit. This year's festivities will be on December 2 from 5-9pm, with the tree lighting ceremony beginning at 6pm. A good time for the whole family, the Old Town Holiday Stroll is a long-standing tradition & kickoff to the holiday season.
