I thought I would have time to write a regular newsletter this week but it turns out three children on a thanksgiving holiday break made that.... well, impossible. So instead I'll just make an announcement and share a timely snippet from John Bogle's really good commencement speech.

Last week, we gave our believers access to the data room; a raw, unfiltered look inside our journey to building startupy.

 

Essentially, it's an ever-evolving repository of internal info. Expect to see figma files, call recordings, investor updates, decks, email exchanges, and musings on questions keeping us up at night.

We think so much of what is shared about tech and startups publicly is unhelpful, cliche-ridden, and looks at the past through success-tinted glasses.

 

Consider the data room our version of Internal Tech Emails (one of my fave accounts on the Internet).
