Mindful Moments in Daily Life
I have been so excited to reach out to you with my next newsletter, but I have been practicing patience, quiet, and pause. In my personal life, I took two weeks in November off so that I could travel with my family, enjoying several birthdays and Thanksgiving in Florida. When I came back to over 500 unread emails (most of which were all about sales and promos), I knew that so many of us probably felt (feel) overwhelmed, and that was before the holiday season had started.
 
So today's newsletter is all about practicing rest in our daily life so that we can enter our holidays with their true purpose in mind, and not the commercial aspect of it.

Square or 4-7-8 Breathing
How often are you breathing? I know that this can be a little bit of a bumpy month for stress management, so I have two little voice recordings for you. 

Text '478' back to me to get the 4-7-8 Technique which can focus on reducing anxiety, drifting off to sleep, cravings, and anger response. 

Text 'square' back to me to get the Square Breathing Technique, which allows you to return back to calm when you are overly stressed. 

Both will be sent to you as either a voice memo or a voicemail (depending on your carrier). Oftentimes, your phone will ring once and then go right to voice mail. If that happens, that was me leaving you a relaxation treat! After you try those, if you want to set up a full customized breath work session, we can do it virtually or in person.
