I love, love, love rainy days…
Not just because they remind me of days at camp when you got 3x rest hour. Oh wait – maybe that's exactly why I love rainy days. You get permission to slow down, stay inside, and do less.
Since becoming a full-time entrepreneur, I've gone through phases where I worked even more than I did at a 9 to 5 job. But these days, I'm leaning in hard on being more productive in many less hours. I work under 20 hours a week (while making more money). In non-work hours, I spend time hanging with my family, doing things I love, and doing nothing.
The trick is quality over quantity + other strategies for productivity.
Here are 5 simple ways you can get started:
- Identify when you're the most productive and make the most out of that time
- Set small goals to avoid overwhelm and make projects more manageable
- Limit distractions (e.g. setting up dedicated time window to check and respond to work emails)
- Set boundaries by being mindful of your scope and time
- Do the hard things first
