In the December 12 edition of The Leaftlet, we celebrated the best books in democracy, federalism, rule of law, judicial power, and constitutional change. In this final edition of 2022, we celebrate the best books in comparative law, constitutional design, authoritarianism, populism, the separation of powers, and the future of constitutionalism. There will be many outstanding books published in 2023. Here are ten of the most anticipated books in constitutional studies in the year ahead.

Registration is now open for our Doctoral Workshop on Constitutional Amendment. This Workshop is designed for doctoral students writing on constitutional amendment, constitutional dismemberment, constitutional mutation, constitutional reform, constitutional replacement, or related subjects. The registration deadline is January 9, 2023.
