We are launching a new round of the Soft Spot Songwriters Accountability Group for 2023! I'm so excited to get this round up and running. It's always such a motivating, productive and transformational process. My intention with the group is to create a safe space for artists to be writing and completing songs consistently. 

 

This year we are offering two tiers. 

 

Tier 1: A weekly email thread and prompt (limited to 20 people) $40

Tier 2: For LA songwriters only - 4 in-person offerings as well as the weekly email thread (limited to 10 people) $140

 

If you're interested in joining check out the info below and submit to be considered by January 16th. If you have participated in the group before please email Rainee to secure your spot. 

 

Write a song a week for 10 weeks. 

 

Our first song is due Monday January 23rd and our last song is due Monday March 27th 2023.

 

You must submit a complete song each week by midnight Monday night. 

 

I’ll send out a new email thread each week that will include an optional prompt for inspiration.

1. Anything shared in the group is confidential. No outside sharing of songs without permission from the artist.

 

2. Only positive (if any) feedback allowed. Listening to other people’s work is totally optional!

 

3. You are allowed to miss two weeks but if you miss three, you’ll be out of the group! This is the accountability part!! 

Your song has to be written that week. Alternatively you can finish a song idea that you started earlier. 

 

Submissions can be anything from a voice memo to a fully produced track. 

 

Co-writes are allowed and encouraged! 

 

As well as the weekly email thread, we are also offering a special in-person group limited to 10 people. This is for LA based songwriters only. There are 4 in-person offerings:
