Hello First name / Friend,,

Today it's over to Alaw Owen. Alaw, is a member of the Wales Arts Health and Wellbeing Network (WAHWN).

WAHWN is a rapidly expanding network of colleagues delivering arts and health work in Wales. This challenge came from a Welsh Language 'breakout room' during 64 Million Artists Zoom workshop with network members.

“The January Challenge is a fantastic creative resource that is accessible to everyone. What is most exciting for us is that it enables individuals and groups from across the UK to create a virtual community – through taking part, people can become part of a national movement to acknowledge and celebrate the wellbeing benefits of being creative every day. And of course, we are super excited this year that the resources will be available in the Welsh language – bendegedig!” - WAHWN

This year, we are so pleased that The January Challenge is fully available in the Welsh Language, with thanks to support from the Arts Council of Wales. This includes The Champions Pack - a free resource which includes all 31 challenges ahead of time - for people who want to use The January Challenge to engage with the groups around them at work or in their local community.

Create an imprint of your hand or foot, in or with natural materials. Leave behind a trace of yourself, or take it inside.
Welsh Translation:
Gwna siâp dy law neu dy droed, mewn neu gyda deunyddiau naturiol. Cei ei adael tu allan, neu ei gario i mewn i'r tŷ neu'r gweithle.

Now that you’ve left your imprint on nature, think about the impact nature has on your life.
