Thank you for the support that you have shown our salon and spa by either having a service, recommending friends and family, purchasing a gift card or even stopping by to say hello. Every holiday season we are reminded how blessed we are to be of service to our guests, and community.
After 2 years navigating through COVID protocols, county restrictions, product shortages, we started 2022 with a positive outlook and hopeful for what the year would bring.
With a calendar already full of education and seminars planned, and we are hitting the year running.
In January, Michelle Tibbits, our Director of Education, lead a bootcamp seminar.
February we were honored to host Wella Professional Global artist and GHD North America Top Artist, Aubrey Loots. Aubrey’s class concentrated on the new Shinefinity color and the trending Shag Cut.
In March we were happy to host Shannel Mariano. Shannel is a renowned educator traveling all over the US teaching haircutting in a very simple and visual way.
April we excitedly took a big group of stylists to the Wella Color Studios in Calabasas for a private full day of education. The class was led by Signature Studio Artists Erik and Tommy. We concentrated our time on Vibrant Reds and Rich Brunettes. Breaking down formulation, chemistry, and techniques, while executing all of our knowledge on live models.
In the month of May, TJ, International Master Designer taught a new technique of the shag, and the trending cut “The Wolf”.
This Summer started out with Wella Color Master Hairstylist Yanin Colmenero focusing on formulations. And later a class on balayage by Crystal Marie from Redken.
We wrapped up our education marathon with an H-line formulation and chemistry class.
We celebrated our incredible team with theme quarterly lunches, a trip to the Van Gough Experience, and finished off the year with a Holiday Murder Mystery Dinner party.
Congratulations to all of our stylists that were promoted this year. Kitty, Kaitlyn, Emily, Kenzie, TJ and Matt have all shown outstanding abilities in hair design and have shown a committed to their profession and clients.
Upon reflecting back on the year, there were some tears, hard times and lots of stressful moments. But the truth is that the moment we see a guest smiling, a heartfelt story shared, making YOU feel the best you can, so you can tackle your moments, makes everything worth it. We are so grateful to be sharing our passion with our community.
