SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE
JANUARY, 2023

Happy 2023 My Friends!

Happy 2023 My Friends! I am so excited for this upcoming year as I feel only positive vibes for what is unfolding before us! My spiritual sense tells me we are collectively raising up our level of consciousness to realize we have massive power to be the creators of an amazing year and life! I take this responsibility very seriously. I love being in control of my own destiny!

I never make New Year’s Resolutions but instead declare a mantra which will guide me in all my decisions and actions for the year. So, for 2023 my mantra is: Reach for the Stars…Live Life Passionately…Never Settle! Might declaring your own mantra for 2023 be a way for you to feel more positive and fulfilled this year?

This past year I was shown an incredible path with an opportunity to recreate myself and launch my new business…the next phase of my passion for diamonds and jewelry. Kat Morrow Private Gemologist was born! It was very important to me to be true and authentic in creating a business which mirrored my vision. I carefully planned out my brand and message as I wanted to come out of the gate shouting the message…THIS GIRL KNOWS DIAMONDS! I surrounded myself with experts – thank you Tina Erdmann – to bring it to life.

You see, even though this was a new phase of my business, I was NOT new to the business. With over 30 years of experience, expertise, and resources and a new and fresh concept, it still needed to convey I was not a novice as a gemologist and diamond and jewelry appraiser and broker. As I’ve grown and evolved this first year, I continue to hone my niche which best serves my clients. The most surprising thing is the unique variety of ways I have been able to work with my clients. I always
find a way to make it happen!

One thing for sure, I’ve never been more excited about diamonds and jewelry and this business model allows me to offer “all of me” giving my clients exceptional, personalized one-on-one service, discernment in my diamond and jewelry offerings which is “off the charts”, a smarter spend, and creating happy, buying experiences for my clients.

I am so grateful for your support in 2022, for your trust in me helping you with your diamond and jewelry needs, and for the great referrals.

Here’s to a most amazing 2023! I wish this for all of you too! THANK YOU!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

With so much love,

Kat

STORIES OF INTRIGUE

The Dazzling History of Natural Diamond Engagement Rings

The storied style which started in the Renaissance era has continuously evolved over the years. Have you ever wondered how the diamond became the iconic symbol of commitment? During the Renaissance, Mary of Burgundy is said to be the first to receive a diamond ring for her betrothal to Archduke Maximillian in 1477. Since then and throughout history, the diamond engagement ring became the ultimate symbol of love when asking your beloved to accept a proposal. You’ll find so much beauty, love, and romance in this tale of the beginnings of diamonds for engagements…so read on…

On the horizon…
EXCLUSIVE VIP JEWLERY BUYING EVENT

I would love to get your feedback on an “Exclusive VIP Jewelry Buying Event” I am planning for this year…most likely in early fall – like mid-September. I would feature several design houses who create unique and beautiful jewelry in sterling silver, gold, and platinum.

Their designs may feature just the metal itself or may be accented by diamonds or gems. These would be jewelry manufacturers not currently represented in the local market here at affordable price points from $250 to $5,000…and a few more exclusive pieces too! The selection would be large and include earrings, rings, pendants, and bracelets.

These buying events would be by invitation only and the experience would be unforgettable…beautiful venue…signature beverages and appetizers, knowledgeable jewelry consultants, other special perks, drawings for prizes, and of course, amazing prices for a smarter spend. We would limit the number of attendees to keep it more exclusive and your purchase of a ticket would secure your reservation to attend.

Can you give me some feedback on this? I’m looking for your ideas or suggestions to make it great and fun.

KAT’S WISDOM CORNER: TIPS FOR A HEALTHY, WEALTHY & FUN LIFE!

Did curiosity really kill the cat? I don’t think so...or this Kat would be dead long ago! Ha!

Secrets can only be revealed if you are curious enough to seek the answers. This is how I interpret Ralph Waldo Emerson’s quote. I was born curious and thankfully have remained extraordinarily curious my entire life.

A lifelong learner and seeker of knowledge, truth, and adventure, I am constantly digging and asking questions to learn more, understand more, do more, and become more. The last thing I want to become is stagnant in my thinking or in my living of life.

I believe once we expand our minds by keeping curious, it can no longer return to its original size. If someone tells me something, even if it sounds unbelievable or farfetched, I don’t automatically dismiss it. I ask questions to qualify the information and then do further research of my own to either validate it, debunk it, or file it in my mind for further exploration if an answer is not immediate.

If someone tells me I can’t do something or go somewhere, that’s an automatic signal for my brain to find out why and seek a way I can do it or go there.  I don't take “no” too easily or literally.

I have observed too many people are very closed minded and don’t care to hear other theories which go against their belief system. I never stay in the box. Just because it is what we were taught or led to believe, does not mean it is true. Make sense?  The next time you're presented with an opportunity like this…take pause…and take a chance.

What level of curiosity do you operate at? If you’re comfortable fine…but that which lies outside your level of comfort could be something extraordinary you're missing out on.

Curious to find out? Push past your comfort zone and GO FOR IT!
