Hello First name / Friend,, Today’s challenge is from members of the Chit Chat group in Leicester. But first we have some exciting updates to share… |
🚨 Announcement 🚨 Throughout January, there will be events, workshops and celebrations designed to help us celebrate The January Challenge community! Some events are in person, and some are online. All of them are completely free and open for you to join, if you'd like to. All online events will be BSL interpreted, and Zoom workshops will be live captioned. Join us and our incredible collaborators, including Chrissie Okorie, Jonny Cotsen, Lemn Sissay, Karen Arthur, Liv Little (and more!) to get creative, together. |
Today's challenge setters, the Chit Chat group, are a growing group of South Asian heritage women in Leicester, who gather on zoom, WhatsApp and in person to be creative, exercise, learn and Chit Chat. 64 Million Artists ran a creative workshop with the group, and today you’ll find one of the challenges created by them! Pictured below is the workshop in action, members of the group are sitting around tables in conversation and coming up with creative ideas. |

Here's Bharti Mistry, a community connector who supports the Chit Chat group, on what creativity means to her… |

Find or recall a classic recipe, or family favourite, and re-write it with your own unique twist. Your twist might be delicious, nutritious or humorous! |
Welsh Translation: Chwilia am risáit enwog, neu efallai dy fod yn cofio un, a gallai fod yn hoff bryd gan y teulu. Ychwanega dro annisgwyl i'r risáit - gallai hynny fod yn rhywbeth i'w wneud yn fwy blasus, yn fwy maethlon neu jest yn hwyl! |
Did your unique twist encourage you to try more recipes and experiment more with different ingredients? |
