Yep, this one gets a second spot on the January Jumpstart calendar!
So many of my clients use the word “fancy” to describe the clothes they fear wearing, but actually want to wear deep down.
This hesitation is often rooted in the expectation of receiving unwelcome comments from acquaintances, coworkers, and even loved ones that sound something like:
“Where are you going all dressed up?”
All this tells me is that the commenter has regrets of their own. This is not for you to carry.
Say “thank you, I'm having fun!” and move along.
