Hi First name / there,
Self-love and self-compassion are often talked about in the context of self-care - getting a massage, a mani/pedi, or getting enough sleep. We agree. But, we also think you need to dig a bit deeper sometimes.
There’s nothing wrong with taking care of yourself externally, but the internal work that needs to happen to get you to a place of true self-love and self-compassion is a journey that can last a lifetime - but has big rewards in the end. Seems unattainable? We all have to start somewhere.
This week, our
blog focuses on “Swastha”, or what it means to struggle with ego and suffering vs. your personal truth and freedom. This won’t resonate with everyone just yet but, in time and with work, you’ll start to understand the difference between “self-love” as “self-care” and “self-love” as “compassion” - for yourself and for others.
At Path Wellbeing, our clients embark on a journey of “Swastha”, oftentimes without even realizing it. They learn how to nurture mind, body and spirit and, before they know it, they begin to find their internal truths - the core of who they are, what they’re here for and how to move forward on their paths with less suffering, disease, stress and struggle.
