Hello!

If I haven't met you before, I am Elizabeth, and I'm glad you're getting this email!
A little intro on me-
Whenever I get to pick food, it's Mexican, always. I don't have a favorite color, I love them all, love watching them shift as seasons change. I am a list-maker and an introvert. I've been collecting plants since 2020 because they started making me so happy that year, and somehow I am keeping them alive (I'll credit a green thumb to listening to my mom and her mom talk about plants for as long as I can remember). I started doing yoga this year and it has been a balm for my body and my soul, especially when I combine it with prayer. I am an optimist. I am a wife to my favorite partner and a mom to two boys.

I believe photography has the power to bring our hearts back to a specific moment in time. And I believe that connecting to our personal past can bring significant joy to our present. I have so much gratitude for being able to share this love of photography in meaningful ways, and support my family doing it. My sincerest thanks for being here and trusting me to capture your family's precious memories.

If you are new here, my loose plan for this newsletter is to share things I've found helpful in keeping my own family's memories, and to let you guys know about upcoming photography opportunities.  It'll be less than 12 emails all year. Spoiler, this is not my favorite part of the job ;) Please tell me if there is anything you'd like to know from me, for real! Would you like to know how I organize and use the millions of iPhone photos I have of my own family? Or how I get kids to smile during sessions? What would help you out to know from me this year?!

I thought about sending a professional headshot out with this intro email but honestly, this is more of who I am in this season of life, sharing experiences with my kiddos, who clearly dress themselves. We went to see the Hip Hop Nutcracker over the holidays and Jacob (my husband) snapped this iPhone picture on the walk back to the car.

Warmly, Elizabeth
