MArch 2023
March is Women's History Month and we are celebrating with content and resources from several of our talented staff members! Along with our March podcast episode which highlights our longest tenured female forester Kim Bomberger, we are also sharing the 2022 Fire Occurrence Map put together by our very talented GIS Analyst, Darci Paull.

At the end of the month we'll host a discussion of the book Last Wild Places in Kansas by our newest forester, EJ Jamison. If you haven't signed up to participate in the book club discussion yet, make sure to register before the 23rd!

Just last week, we opened the position for our Northwest District Forester! This person will cover both rural and community forestry. Please share the job listing posted on our social media pages Monday and send interested applicants to our Employment Opportunities page to learn more!
enjoy!
