“50% of us will get cancer in our lifetime. 50% will be afraid to share this fact at work. But 92% of patients believe the support they get at work positively impacts their health. Let’s pledge to build a supportive workplace for those who are living with cancer.” - #workingwithcancer pledge

JANUARY CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

More than 14,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer each year, but the disease is preventable!  Cervical cancer can often be found early, and sometimes even prevented, by having regular screening tests.

If detected early, cervical cancer is one of the most successfully treatable cancers.

#WORKINGWITHCANCER

Did you work through treatment?  I did.  But I was lucky.  CLICK HERE to hear my #workingwithcancer story.  I was asked to take part to help spread the word and was happy to do so!

Do you own a company?  Will you take the pledge to ensure that any and all of your employees are supported during their cancer journey?  So far, Disney, Google, Microsoft, Marriott, and Meta are among the signatories of a pledge led by Publicis.

NON-PROFIT SUPPORT and FREE SERVICES

The impacts of cancer are so significant and there are so many non-profits you may not know about who are here to support you.  We’ve highlighted a few so far and wanted to bring them all together for a comprehensive look, especially since so many help financially.

We want to continue to highlight others, so please email us if you have one we should know about and support.

Please send this PAGE to any family members or friends who need help!
