Nucs: A Hidden Resource for the Backyard Beekeeper
Mary will be leading a breakout session on Saturday at the GBA Spring Conference. She will be speaking about “Nucs" — the small honey bee colonies housed in small hives. This talk will cover how to make and manage a nucleus hive in your apiary to help you better prepare for swarm control, re-queening, selling bees, and more.

The cost is $25 per person or family and includes Lake Country Beekeepers Association 2023 Membership PLUS admission to a follow-up in-hive event at Morgan Apiaries in late March.
