Aerialists love taking videos and I love seeing all the videos on IG, tiktok and everywhere!
. I LOVE seeing the videos you send and tag me in!
Videos are one of the best tools we have to assess where we are
Where we want to grow
AND bridging the gap between the way a move feels and how it looks
lol and we all know what sometimes that gap is larger than you would hope.
NO worries!
This is how we grow!
Put aside some training time this week and shoot yourself a 2023 “before” video.
Promise yourself: You will be objective and only use it to learn and grow no matter where you are. Be kind. I know we can all be harsh self-critics; that is WHY you have gotten so far with your skills. I'll say it again; be kind, even if your skills and strength aren't what they once were (and if you can't do this, take the video and archive it without watching for now).
This is where we begin our 2023 aerial journey.
If you feel like sharing feel free to respond or tag me on any of the socials:

And if you choose to watch your videos, do so with an eye for appreciation of the hard work you have put in so far AND the discerning eye for where you want to be.
These reviews are powerful tools to becoming the aerialist of your dreams.
Some of what you might explore for yourself includes:
Character
Intention
Fluidity
Movement quality
Speed
Technique
Musicality
Style
I adore hearing from you! Feel free to say hi, let me know how you use this exercise and how its helpful in your growth as an aerialist.
Grit and Grace,
