Things to do this weekend in Houston

Enjoy the fan favorites of Camp Jeep, the Ram Test Track and the 2022/2023 new vehicle models at the Houston Auto Show portion of the event. A large variety of auto brands will be represented, along with several test drive opportunities from brands like Ford and Subaru.”

Monster Jam!
“Each standing over 10.5ft tall and weighing over 12,000 pounds, your favorite monster trucks are revving up their engines to return to Houston this weekend for a day of supercharged fun at the NRG stadium. Dubbed the world’s largest monster truck tour since its inception in the 1980s, Monster Jam just celebrated its 30th anniversary last year by touring its skilled drivers across the nation to perform the most epic battles on the dirt.

As usual, there will be a pre-event pit party, where fans can get up close and personal with the massive trucks and drivers. Entry to the party requires a separate “Pit Party Pass”, but it’s worth it to watch all live interviews, participate in Q&As, and take lots of pictures.” Full Houstonia article here.

"Join us for brunch and a guided art walk through the new exhibition “Steve Tobin’s Intertwined: Exploring Nature’s Networks.” You’ll discover monumental sculptures – Bronze Roots, Steelroots, Clouds, Nests, and more – that dramatically capture the unseen power of the natural world while celebrating the importance of the systems that give life to the Garden’s tropical, sub-tropical, and arid collections.

The event is open to educators of all kinds – formally employed in the field or not – and is included in general admission to the Garden, which is $15/adult on Saturdays."
