Wellness Corner
Occupational Wellness- Can you network and mingle comfortably?  In early 2020, I was killing it, now I am SO uncomfortable at networking events. Be a croissant, not a bagel.
Physical Wellness- 10,000 steps/day is recommended. How are we feeling about that number? There are MANY benefits to walking…simply walking. Aim to move a little every hour you are awake. If you're at a computer all day, set an hourly alarm to walk around. It's okay not to get 10k steps.
Financial Health- Over a decade ago I joined a Facebook group called Live Richer with The Budgetnista- That's Tiffany “The Budgetnista” Aliche. She has come a LONG way and was recently featured in a Netflix documentary about people looking to take control of their money. If you are hesitant about the next step or first step for you finances, check out The Budgetnista.
Environmental Wellness- Circle Compost and Bennett Compost are two local (Philly) organizations working to transform your food scraps. I compost and it's one of my favorite ways to be sustainable. If you want to talk composting, let's do it!
Mental Health- A few reminders: Set Boundaries. Stick to your boundaries. Rest before your body forces you. And yes, you really do need connection, so text a friend or go out for coffee/tea with someone who has been on your mind.

Remember: Wellness includes physical, occupational, social, financial, mental/emotional, spiritual, digital and creative health. It's all about balance!
