Now that our businesses are fully back in the swing of things, and all the madness of the past few years is dying down, a lot of us are turning the lens inward. Who are we in 2023? We have all learned a lot (thanks 2020… 2021… and 2022), and alongside our businesses, we have all grown. Now more than ever before, clients want to know who they are working with, and in return we really want to know that a client is the perfect fit, right?
So, perhaps 2023 is the year to focus on our personal brands. What does the world see when they look at us as the person behind the brand? Are we really the perfectly curated and filtered photos on our Instagram feeds? I know we are not. So here’s to showing up on whatever social channels you love best, in inquiry calls, and on wedding days as a real live human being - uniquely you!

some ways we'd love to work together
CONTENT SHARING
01
If you are a fellow vendor or collaborator on a client project, lets work together to spread the word. We're always looking for opportunities to partner and leverage our following. Examples include; scheduling an Instagram Live, guest authoring a blog post or co-hosting a webinar.

STYLED SHOOTS
02
Last year, we partnered with Sperry Tents to decorate their new glamping tent for a feature in Boston Common. We love working on styled shoots for editorial, or as a way to let our creative juices flow. Hosting a local workshop for fellow vendors and need a planner present or just looking to experiment to build your portfolio? Count us in.

INDUSTRY EVENTS
03
This year, a goal of ours is to host an industry event for fellow creatives in New England - likely Boston! While we're still workshopping what that looks like for us - maybe you're planning on doing the same? If you're interested in hosting an intimate dinner party or cocktail affair to bring together wedding colleagues, let us know. We are happy to loan our planning services for the right opportunity.

SO I DID A THING...
And started a newsletter. Join me and my weekly (sometimes twice a month, don’t hold me to it…) email where I throw in a dash of realness, a pinch of humor, a smidgeon of internet finds, and a touch of leadership tips to brighten your inbox.
Over the years we have learned that smart robust systems create the foundational structure to allow us the space and freedom to get creative, with our design plans, yes, but also with our client management practices.
Having a tried and true system to take each client through the process allows us to rest easy that the details are all covered, whether we are working with a type-A list maker or a head in the clouds dreamer.
