“The care of the Earth is our most ancient and most worthy,
and after all our most pleasing responsibility.” Wendell Berry

On behalf of the Greenwich Sustainability Committee, thank you for joining us for A Farmer's Perspective on Food & Climate Change. We hope you were inspired
by the discussion and learned something new.

The challenges within the industrial food system are complicated and systemic and undoubtedly, overwhelming. And! The solutions are all around us. They are often creative, nourishing and repair ecological and relational connectivity. As Woodbridge demonstrated by investing in Massaro Community Farm, anything is possible when a community comes together around shared values and vision.

Thank you!

Steve Munno for his excellent talk and leadership in Connecticut.

Coffee for Good, Greenwich Community Gardens, Second Congregational church, Greenwich Grown and The Foodshed Network for their support.

And a special thank you to Kim Gregory, for organizing this event, and for years of dedication to land conservation and sustainability within Greenwich.
