The year is off to a roaring start as I recently completed a set of two large commissioned artworks for my client Heather!

These two babies will live on opposite sides of the hallway which connects the client's living room and bedroom in their Cary home.

Designed to provide a different experience as one walks by in either direction, blue will be primarily visible when passing toward the bedroom. Gold is visible when passing toward the living room.

This design was an exercise in constraint as the utilization of every tool at my disposal (varying size, shape, color, and arrangement) could have easily overwhelmed the art.
 
The design intention is to emphasize flow, and compliment movement through the transitory space.

After it was all said and done, I had some leftover triangular forms ready to go, and I wasn't about to let them to go to waste.
