Alfredo Apolloni and his wife Laurine purchased Apolloni Vineyards in 1999, when the 62-acre property had five acres of vineyard planted, relocating from Michigan. This was precipitated by the birth of their son, Adolfo, and Alfredo’s desire for his children to grow up on a vineyard – a reflection of his own wonderful experience from his youth. The family has since purchased a nearby 30-acre site, developing 40 additional vineyard acres from 1999 to the present. |

Apolloni Vineyards is rooted in Family, Italian Heritage and Tradition. Their labels are inspired by the Apolloni family coat of arms from the 16th century, featuring a black eagle as a sign of strength, as well as the helm from the armor of the captains of Scalve. The Apolloni family’s Italian roots originate in the Arezzo region of Tuscany, Italy, encompassing a winemaking tradition dating back over 150 years. Alfredo Apolloni, a first generation American, comes from a long lineage of pride in retaining the family name. |

Apolloni Vineyards is owned by Alfredo and Laurine Apolloni. Their winemaker, Kevin Green joined them after honing his talents at another local Oregon winery. The vineyard team lead, Arcadio Calderon, is a valuable asset to their team. |

Apolloni's tasting room is located at 14135 NW Timmerman Rd. Forest Grove, OR 97116. While tasting their variety of wines charcuterie and pairings are also available, as well as purchases by the glass or bottle. They also have two Bocce Ball courts that can be reserved to enhance your tasting experience or to host your next event. |

Notes from the winemaker: “Pinot Blanc is ideally suited for the cooler climate of the Tualatin Hills AVA in the northern Willamette Valley. Delightful, aromatic and dry, ours is made in the traditional Italian Pinot Bianco style and fermented entirely in stainless steel. This wine greets you with cool eucalyptus, fresh herbs and a touch of forest floor on the nose. The palate offers balanced fruit– tart, yet hints of sweet, lime and lemongrass. This wine is versatile and pairs beautifully with oysters, Thai and Indian food or along with your favorite fish taco.” |

Oregon is home to an active and exciting wine culture. Throughout the year, a number of wine related events take place right in our backyard. It is our goal to spread the word and support our local wine community while introducing individuals to a side of wine that they may not have seen before! |
